Travis Kelce Was Just Asked If He’s ‘in Love’ With Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been linked for less than two months and people are already expecting them to drop the L-word.

On November 3, the 34-year-old NFL player was asked at least two questions about his love life during a Kansas City Chiefs press conference. In a video shared by El Capologist Podcast on X (formerly Twitter), Kelce can be heard giving an update on the “status” of his relationship with the 33-year-old pop star. “The latest status is I got to see her last week,” he said with a smile on his face. “That’s the latest status right there.”

The last time Kelce and Swift were photographed together was following the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers on October 23, though The Daily Mail reported that Swift flew in to Missouri to visit Kelce on Monday, October 30. The pair may have spent Halloween together, but their potential couples costume has not yet been revealed.

In the press conference video, the reporter followed up by asking if Kelce is “in love,” to which he replied, “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”

This isn’t the first time Kelce has pledged to keep his relationship private. Following Swift’s first game-day appearance in late September, he addressed the topic on his podcast, New Heights. “What’s real is that it’s my personal life and I want to respect both of our lives,” he said, per Today. “She’s not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week and having fun during the NFL season on other guys’ shows…. So everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports and saying, ‘All right now,’ would have to be kind of where I keep it.”

Whether or not he’s fully committed to that rule is another story. During an October press conference, the football player opened up about his mindset amid all the paparazzi attention, telling reporters that he’s “on top of the world,” adding, “You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason. You just have to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”

Though it may be too soon to call it love—or that question was simply too invasive—Kelce doesn’t seem to mind being called Taylor’s boyfriend. How’s that for a status update?
