Swifties may not have known who Travis Kelce is before, or that he has a podcast with his brother called New Heights, but they sure do now that he’s used the platform to publicly discuss his Taylor Swift relationship for the very first time.
In the podcast episode that aired on September 27, Kelce’s brother Jason (also an NFL star, btw), asked Travis to describe what it’s like now that “Taylor Swift has finally put you on the map.” Travis admitted that having paparazzi outside his house all day is a bit of an adjustment, to say the least, but said it was great to see Swift at the game.

“Shout out to Taylor for pulling up,” Travis said on the pod. “That was pretty ballsy.” On seeing her interactions with his friends and family in the suite, he practically gushed. “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her,” he said. “To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with Mom…then we just slid off in the getaway car.”
Travis may have even dropped a hint about how the two first met. “And then you’ve got Coach Reid saying he’s Cupid,” he said, referring to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. “I know that he had met the Swift family before.” So what we’re saying is maybe it didn’t all start with a friendship bracelet after all….
Unfortunately for all of us Swifties, Travis and Jason Kelce then went right back to discussing football. We’ll just have to wait for the next album to come out to get the details.
