Traveling west from Lethbridge to Fernie, the sky provided some wonderful opportunities for driving shots.
Whitstable beach photo.
The sky was, at times, very dark and moody on the day I visited. Used a three exposure HDR merge to bring out the detail in the darker elements that would have been lost in the exposure for the sky.

I cant find much inspiration these grey winterdays, but once a while a clear day comes by. -This was one of them.
Decided to head to Holy Island for sunset last night but when I arrived there was nothing but flat seas and clear skies. I would have been stranded anyway as the tide was coming in..
I then headed home hoping to find somewhere on the way back, so once again this has been bad planning on my part.
Luckily I tried a spot I had been to the previous night, just a couple of miles out of the village of Ayton, and my goodness what a sunset it was.
Overall pleased with my set of images from here but seeing the need to invest in stronger Grads as the 0.6 and the 0.9 used singularly and combined still seem to over expose the sky in high contrast scenes like this..
Many thanks for looking and Best viewed Fullscreen.
