Equipments: Canon 5D Mark II. Canon EF 85mm f/1.8

I went downtown today to add some variety to the project, but was overwhelmed and intimated. There was so many people, too many choices. I had a tough time tracking down a model. Secondly, remember just a couple of days ago I said that I am getting better in asking people for pictures? Turns out I was wrong. I used to wander around bus stops or train stations, where people stand around and wait, which would be relatively easier for me to approach them. But when I was at downtown today, people were constantly moving. The challenge is how to stop a person without being rude. It's a totally different game.

Although it's though, the reward is also exceptionally great. Why? Let's let today's picture do the talking.

Thanks Elyse.

6 4x5 shots stuck together

Taken and uploaded for Week 11 of the T189 alphabet photo a week challenge for 2012, F for Face. Taken in natural light from a north facing window, using a reflector on the 'dark' side. I had to use a tripod and a remote control. Was just lucky to get the focus. Using a prime lens helps.

Trying a more mature look.

Photowalk 37 of 52 - Killen's Pond - Manual / Flash and Umbrella

For this walk I wasn't exactly sure what to do. It was drizzling rain and on Sunday so I needed to do something. The rest of the week had been busy so this was the only time I had to do my photowalk. I decided to play with my flash and my new flash stand and umbrella. I took two of my kids to the park with me and we found a nice little place to take some shots without the rain interfering.
