Sidebar: Lens flare ruins my life all day every day, but I love this photo regardless.

This is one of those community-built playgrounds.... Cordell was about 3
when we helped build it. Almost 20 years later, it's still here and in
relatively good shape.
I'm letting Linc run around a bit before we head down to Paso Robles for
the weekend. We had a fabulous time in Davis, staying with Suzanne and
her kiddos. I had a great dinner with Tosi, reminding me how much fun it
is to eat out with midwives and their cheerful descriptions of birthing
while chowing down their food.
I started a Noro Scarf in Petaluma, and I'm almost done with it. The
place where our wedding party happened has been bulldozed. I saw enough
people in the wild to reassure me that, while Davis has certainly
changed a lot, I still have plenty of connections here... something that
is reassuring at a very deep level, for some reason.
Breakfast at Konditorei was incredible (if you live in the Bay Area and
love real Austrian pastry... or maybe haven't even had it yet... you owe
yourself a trip to this bakery) and I stocked up on goodies to bring to
my next stop.
So long, Davis! See you in May for Whole Earth!
