Neighbours: Toadie says he's 'angry' over Sonya

In an upcoming 'Death in the Outback' week, Neighbours is set to bid farewell to one of its iconic characters, putting seven soap legends in jeopardy.

The storyline will revolve around Holly Hoyland, Toadie Rebecchi, Melanie Pearson, Haz Devkar and Mackenzie Hargreaves. These fan-favourites are all set to venture into the perilous Australian bush, leaving Ramsay Street behind and it has been confirmed by the soap bosses that one of them won't return.

Guest stars Anica Calida and Ethan Panizza, who will portray Tess Carmichael and Heath Royce, are also joining the line-up for this thrilling week. The drama begins when both Heath and Holly decide to embark on a spontaneous holiday.

Neighbours teased: "Holly is unaware of the danger that lurks around her in the Outback, both on land and in Heath Royce, her secret love interest."

When they can't get in touch with Holly, Haz and Mackenzie become anxious and decide to go out and look for them, reports the Daily Star.

Simultaneously, Toadie and Melanie have disappeared from Erinsborough without informing anyone of their whereabouts. It's now up to the scriptwriters and internet detectives to figure out who will meet their end in the dreaded outback.

It's official: Ryan Moloney, the beloved Toadie from Neighbours, is set to exit the show after an iconic 30-year stint, sparking widespread speculation among fans about his character's fate. The star himself has tantalisingly hinted, "I can't tell you what is happening to the character maybe I could be the next Jim Robinson. Or maybe I'll be the next Harold Bishop and keep popping back over the years."

In a statement revealing his new direction, Ryan expressed his excitement: "Although I won't be bringing you our fantastic storylines from in front of the camera, I will be bringing them to you from the other side, behind the camera. I've just started director training and have just finished filming my first episode as director so I really hope that you enjoy that."

Toadie, who began as a mischievous student at Erinsborough High with dreams of wealth, faced his most dramatic moment in 2003 when he tragically drove off a cliff on his wedding day, leading to his wife being presumed dead for over a decade.

In a shocking soap twist, Toadie's wife made a miraculous return alongside a teenage daughter, only for it to be revealed later that she was actually his wife's twin sister, hell-bent on revenge against the legendary character.
