Emmerdale's Samson prison exit twist, Matty in danger and Jai heartbreak
Emmerdale fans can expect plenty of drama this week as Samson Dingle plans to leave the village and Matty Barton finds himself in grave danger.
It's set to be another dramatic week in Emmerdale.
Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) is slightly more hopeful having established that Les (Stacey J Gough), his cellmate, has accepted him as a trans man and is happy to relay this to Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) when she visits.
He is delighted to hear they have a new solicitor and is left hopeful he could be out of prison soon. As visiting time ends, Amy’s glad Matty is more positive. As she watches him go, she’s approached by Robbo, who she mistakes for Les.
Unfortunately Robbo’s sympathetic front gets the truth about Matty from Amy, who is oblivious to the danger she has now put her husband in. Matty returns to his cell as Les leaves to see his solicitor, once he’s gone, Robbo arrives into the cramped cell, and Matty’s blood runs cold to discover this thug has spoken to his wife.
Matty is trapped in his cell and terrified when Robbo reveals he’s learnt the truth and the menacing transphobe closes in on him.

Elsewhere, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is seething to hear Josh and Samson Dingle's (Sam Hall) intention to leave for their European trip sooner than before, vowing to stop them.
Moira bursts into the Dingles and levels her accusations about Samson leaving early at Sam Dingle (James Hooton) who defends his son’s innocence. Soon, Sam is convinced to let him leave as he promises to be back before the trial but Moira is on a mission to stop him going.
Later in the week, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) is beginning to suspect Samson may be lying and when Josh threatens Samson, putting pressure on him to continue lying to the police, Lydia observes their interaction. Moira and Lydia meet and Moira implores her to help but will she?

Also, It’s awkward between Manpreet Sharma and Charles Anderson until she mentions she has missed him. Will that change things? Ruby and Caleb reconcile and he reveals wants to entice Nicky back but Ruby insists they need to let their son go.
When Ruby meets Rose, Rose tries to pull away from their deal as there has been enough family drama but Ruby is resolute she wants to take down her enemy.
Gail seizes on an idea to reconcile Rhona and Mandy and orchestrates a get together but will it work? In the hospital, Laurel is troubled that her decision to separate from Jai hasn’t sunk in for him.
