Lorraine Kelly was left in shock as Ben Shephard shared a hilarious "mishap" that occurred on the set of This Morning.

While connecting with Lorraine via video link to discuss the day's lineup, the Tipping Point presenter, alongside his co-host Cat Deeley, disclosed an unexpected turn of events.

Ben confessed to Lorraine: "We've had a bit of mishap in the studio already," before spilling the beans about their attempt to bring some cheer with llamas on set, which unfortunately resulted in quite the mess from the usually docile creatures.

Over on This Morning, Ben and Cat provided more details about the incident. They had been engaging with their first guest, Chris Kamara, delving into football matters.

Chris Kamara praised the England team's nail-biting victory over Switzerland in the quarter finals, achieved through a flawless penalty shootout, but the conversation soon veered back to the llama drama, reports the Mirror.

Ben quipped about one llama's apparent disapproval of being on the show, saying: "He made a bit of a protest about being here."

"They're supposed to make everyone feel good but didn't make the studio feel good this morning," Ben remarked, prompting Kammy to respond with a witty retort: "That's not the first time you've been cr***ed on."

"It won't be the last either," shot back Ben. Chaos ensued in the studio last week when Cat, another presenter, had to make a rapid exit during an interview due to sickness.

She was engaged in conversation with Dr Zoe and Tony, a fellow medical specialist, when she suddenly rose from her chair and bolted. "I think Cat's having to sneak out because she's about to have a coughing fit! We've got doctors here, we're alright," shared Ben.

Noticing her sudden departure, TV doctor Tony expressed concern over Cat's well-being. After her return to the set, Ben probed if she felt better, to which she confessed to an eye infection and was sucking on Strepsil to keep additional bouts of cough at bay.
