Mariusz Skowroński

National Member

Mariusz Skowroński is the National Member for Poland. He has more than 20 years of experience as a prosecutor at various levels of the prosecution service in Poland. He dealt with corruption and organised crime in the Investigation Division of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office and in the Court Unit of the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office in Lodz. In 1996, he was appointed to the Bureau for Organised Crime in the National Prosecutor’s Office within the Ministry of Justice. Before joining Eurojust, he was the coordinator for negotiation of two United Nations Conventions. On behalf of the Ministry of Justice, he was also responsible for cooperation with UN offices in Vienna dealing with organised crime and in New York dealing with the illegal smuggling of firearms and explosives.
