Access 2 Cards and Ticketing

Access 2 Entertainment

Each Access 2 Card will permit one complimentary general admission ticket for a support person. If purchasing tickets online in advance, please do not purchase a ticket for the support person. On the day of your visit, please visit Guest Services and present your already purchased ticket(s) and your Access 2 Card, to receive the complimentary admission for the support person. If purchasing your tickets onsite, a Guest Services team member can assist you with your entire transaction.

Who is a support person?

A support person is an individual who accompanies a person with a disability to assist with communication, mobility, personal care, or medical needs with access to goods or services.

Additional Resources

International guests and guests who do not have an Access 2 Card may be eligible to receive a complimentary general admission ticket for a support person by presenting supporting documentation. For information on admission, please contact @email or 416-601-3848 ahead of your visit.

CNIB Cardholders

We are pleased to be a community partner for the CNIB Card program. Guests who have a CNIB card may receive one complimentary general admission ticket by presenting their valid CNIB card at Guest Services.

The Top

The Top is complementary for CNIB cardholders, support persons as part of the Access 2 program, and any guest using a wheelchair. To access The Top's second level, guests must ascend 12 stairs. Guests unable to climb the stairs, may still enjoy The Top's first level, which includes partial views from porthole windows.

Parking and Accessible Transportation

If you are driving, you can arrange in advance for accessible parking at the Rogers Centre. During game days the spots are managed by the Rogers Centre Ticketing Team. They can be reached at 416-341-1234 (press 1 and 1 again). During non event times, these accessible spots are available on a first come first serve basis and are subject to the daily parking rates. There is also a designated Wheel-Trans stop at Gate 7 of the Rogers Centre.

Arrival

Once you’re here, our restricted mobility entrance (automatic door) is located on the southernmost side of the main entrance to the Tower’s security building which can be accessed from Bremner Boulevard—a 141-metre (435-foot) distance from the street.

Once inside the security building, the wheelchair width metal detector is indicated with signage. After Security, the restricted mobility entrance (automatic door) to the Welcome Centre is located on the far left.

We are happy to provide courtesy wheelchairs for guests who request them; however, quantities are limited and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests requesting to use one of the complimentary wheelchairs (for themselves or for a member of their party), will be asked to leave a piece of government-issued ID to secure the wheelchair during its use. The ID will be given back when the wheelchair is returned to the Guest Services desk.

Inside the Tower

After passing a security check, you can take the high-speed elevators up to the Main Observation Level and beyond. Every elevator is accessible, as are the Main Observation Level and The Top’s first level (second level accessed by 12 stairs). For questions regarding The Top's accessibility, please contact @email or speak to any team member during your visit.

If you’re dining at 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower, please let the restaurant know at the time of booking if you require wheelchair access, and we’ll reserve a table for you that suits your needs.

Washrooms and rest areas

The CN Tower provides accessible washroom facilities on each level. For your comfort, we recommend the facilities located on the ground level near the Gift Shop and at the top on the Main Observation Level.

Rest areas are also provided in the Mezzanine elevator area, the 360 Restaurant reservations desk and in Le Café.

How we’re becoming more accessible

We’re committed to constantly improving our accessibility. Here are just a few of the recent changes we’ve made, and some we’ll be making soon:

  • Braille menus at 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower;
  • Wheelchair access to EdgeWalk;
  • Floor-to-ceiling glass window walls for more inclusive views;
  • Colour palette considerations for guests with visual challenges;
  • Universal washroom;
  • Self-serve ticket kiosks;
  • Counters (serving and point-of-sale) and accessible table heights at VUE Bistros;
  • Cane detection at The Top ticket desk.
Accessibility partners

To ensure that we’re as accessible as possible, we work with third-party foundations and consultants such as the Rick Hansen Foundation and Human Space—you can see the results of our latest accessibility audit.

We also collaborate with a number of community-based organizations so that we take a broad and diverse understanding of accessibility when we develop new policies and procedures at the CN Tower.

Standards

We strive to meet or exceed the standards of accessibility set out in legislation and industry best practices, most notably the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Accessibility training is also at the heart of our employee orientation, meaning that everyone who works at the CN Tower can help you get the most out of your visit.

As part of the Canada Lands Company, a federal Crown corporation, we also follow their corporate accessibility policy, which applies to CLC properties across the country.

Low Sensory Mornings

In partnership with Autism Ontario and Variety Village, we are pleased to offer Low Sensory Mornings on scheduled days throughout the year.

We have adapted the CN Tower experience to provide further ways for our guests with sensory sensitivities to enjoy their visit, such as reduced capacity, adjustments to lighting and audio-visual elements as well as a music-free environment.
