With more than 150 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 390 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is that around 3 in 4 women diagnosed with breast cancer in England survive their disease for ten years or more, it is predicted. Help us find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.

Over the past 50 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and almost 6 in 10 people diagnosed will now survive their disease for 10 years or more. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 46 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.

Each year, around 1,900 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, 8 in 10 children with cancer now survive their disease for 10 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK discover better and kinder treatments for all cancers and to continue to improve overall survival for childhood cancer.

Five-year survival for leukaemia has quadrupled in the last 50 years. But despite this progress, around 4,800 people still lose their lives to the disease every year.
