Here are the latest involvement activities you can take part in

Working with you gives us invaluable insights that can help us develop and shape our work. Whether you've got lots of time to spare or only a little, and whatever your experience of cancer, we hope you'll find an activity that interests you.

Below is the list of current activities you can take part in to help shape work throughout the charity as well as wider involvement opportunities for other organisations. You'll need to be aged 18+ and living in the UK to take part in our opportunities.

Patient Representative - Shape our grants programme to help reduce the risk of cancer

Are you passionate about preventing cancer? Join our Grants Review Panel and Have your say on how we work with other organisations to strengthen our voice and help prevent cancer across the UK. You’ll help shape our approach to funding organisations that support and advocate our policy work and be involved in the decisions on which organisations we fund.

Webinar - Information evening for people affected by liver cancer

Those affected by liver cancer are invited to an online information evening with Oxford Cancer.

The event takes place on Thursday 3 October 2024, 5 – 7 pm

Survey - How can palliative and end of life care be improved?

Marie Curie invites people living with a serious life-limiting illness, those supporting them, or people who have been bereaved, to complete a survey to tell them what you think future palliative and end of life care research should focus on, reflecting what's most important to them.

Informal Interview - Understanding Black patients’ experiences of prostate cancer therapy

University College London would like to speak to Black men in the UK willing to talk about their experiences with prostate cancer and its treatment. This work will help to better understand how to reduce inequalities in prostate cancer and provide better support for Black men.

Survey - Review adult brain cancer specific information page

The Scottish Cancer Network is developing a website for patients. They’re looking for people affected by adult brain cancer to review their cancer-specific information page before the content is published on their Cancer Patient Information site.
