Eva Longoria's Pearly French Manicure Is So Pretty for Summer

Manicure trends are in their functional era. Just like fashion, beauty can be very practical, and a polished and timeless manicure is a versatile choice that goes with any outfit—just ask Eva Longoria. The actor loves putting her spin on classic low-maintenance manicure styles (like the refined milky manicure she wore to Vogue World) and her latest nail look is just another example.

On July 8, Longoria posted photos of her look for an Apple TV press day, promoting her new series Land of Women. The 49-year-old has been doing press for the series since the Cannes Film Festival in late May, always with a great manicure intact. This time, the actor co-signed one of the most popular minimalist manicures we've seen throughout the summer, making the style all her own.

Longoria's almond nails had a beige-nude base that blended into the milky nude tips with a touch of pearly chrome. Unlike traditional French styles where the white tips are exaggerated, the actor's manicure creates a barely-there French manicure effect with a soft blend between the base and lighter tip color. The naked French is simple and chic, and much more pared-back than its traditional counterpart—think of it as the "no makeup" makeup of the nail world.

Hairstylist Miguel Martin Perez crafted boho-chic waves on Longoria's brunette hair. Her face-framing pieces curled outwards, creating dimension, and the rest of her hair was shaped in tousled, easygoing soft curls. For makeup, she opted for a black cat eye liner which complimented her wispy lashes and shimmery champagne-toned eyeshadow, courtesy of makeup artist Iván Gómez. Her complexion was matte and softly bronzed, with pops of an orange-hued blush on her cheeks and the finishing touch was her pink glossy lip look.
