The kids (anyone born after 2003) keep saying "aura points" to describe when something is cool, and we'd bet Dua Lipa just gained 20 points with her new manicure. The pop star's love for an aura manicure that shows off her energetic essence is never-ending, and she just revived her favorite nail design in a brand new hue.

On July 7, the Radical Optimism singer posted a handful of selfies to Instagram from her Rock Werchter Festival performance in Belgium. Lipa, who is currently on her European summer tour, was wearing a quintessential Dua Lipa-y look for her performance. Her signature cherry red hair? Check. A gemstone-encrusted, chainmail-esque top? Check. An aura manicure? Triple check.

The aura nail trend is typically associated with pastel pinks and greens, but Lipa's black aura manicure, which she also wore earlier this spring, gave the trend a new edgy life. This time, the singer opted for a pearly white-gray shade on a similar black base. With a quick Google search, you'd know that a white aura signals wisdom and generosity, and we love that for her if it's true. Her almond-shaped nails featured black polish layered with an almond-shaped white blob in the center that takes up most of her nail space. A glossy top coat gives the nails a touch of refined shine.

Lipa credited nail artist Michelle Humphrey in the photos as the genius behind the manicure. Lipa worked with hairstylist Peter Lux and colorist Matt Rez to nail her grungy loose waves and bold bordeaux hue for her recent headlining gig at Glastonbury and her following tour dates.

Before you hop to TikTok to look up a how-to, aura nails are easier to achieve at home than you might think. Nail artist Angie Bonilla previously told Byrdie that she gets the look by thinning out her favorite polish with acetone: "My usual ratio is three drops of gel and four of acetone." She explained, "as for color schemes, a neutral background and stand-out center shade works best."
