Saweetie's 3D Floral Manicure Is in Full Bloom

This summer's nail trends are all over the map. Kylie Jenner put her stamp of approval on bug nails, minimalist manicures have never been more popular, and neon "Brat green" polish is taking over, thanks to Charli XCX. In short, the trends are all over the place. But, if one thing's certain, floral manicures will never go out of style, and Saweetie's newest blooming 3D nails are a work of art.

On July 7, the rapper posted a photo dump to Instagram featuring what she's been up to so far this summer. She's been reading The Great Gatsby, going on Slurpee runs, and staying booked in the salon for "Fre$h grabbaz." In a close-up photo, she showed off her sharp clear stiletto nails, dotted with blooming pastel flowers, gemstones, and more.

Saweetie's blooming manicure was crafted on an extra long and extra sharp stiletto shape. The base of her nails were painted with an almost nude pink shade that allowed the pink color palette and textures of the flower designs to pop. Each nail was one-of-one, with a custom floral design that resembled peonies and cherry blossoms. Every nail had a statement flower placed at the base, and the tips of her nails were painted with a pearly clear shade, with dots of flower petals encased in the clear resin of the stiletto nail.

The "My Type" singer celebrated her birthday early in July with another stiletto set, courtesy of manicurist Temeka Jackson (who also crafted Taraji. P Henson's seven nail designs for her BET Awards hosting gig). She opted for a cool raspberry color with an extra glossy top coat, that, compared to her floral mani, leans on the simpler side.
