I originally bought these tabs a couple of years ago for a section hike on the Appalachian Trail. They were great, remaining palatable (arguably even tasty) even though the high humidity changed their texture a bit. I've taken them on dozens of hikes since, including to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up, and I trust them to keep me properly fueled with electrolytes in tough conditions. This particular order was for daily use, as I now work in a hot kitchen in a hot desert. So far, so good, though I expected nothing less.

These are a zesty flavor that I suspect kids would like as well as adults. There are also other flavors available. They're also a lot more convenient than powders or liquids that have to be mkxed with water. You'll definitely want to sip water when you take these, but you can easily pop them while you're moving. I have usually found that it's cheaper to buy these on Amazon than to get them at REI or similar outdoors stores.

I was recently diagnosed with POTS, which means I need to increase my sodium and water intake to better manage my symptoms. I've used the electrolyte powder packets that you add to water in the past, like Liquid IV and LMNT, but I didn't enjoy the flavors or the higher sugar content (I know LMNT has no sugar, but the others usually do). Enter my discovery of these salt tabs!
I've tried 3 flavors so far: mango, mixed berry, and lemon/lime. Mango is my favorite by far, but I'm a sucker for mango in general. I will pop these like candy throughout the day, and personally, I prefer to let them dissolve in my moth rather than chew them, but they aren't unpleasant to chew. Fair warning for normal peeps, these will likely taste pretty salty to you and may not be as appetizing. For peeps like me, who have a condition that causes them to crave salty foods, these will probably taste pretty dang great!

Deeper details below:
To paint a picture, I work outside guiding horseback trail rides on my weekends. It's hard work and I sweat my booty off on the daily, plus I drink close to a gallon of water while I'm working. When I remember to bring and eat these tabs, I don't feel nearly as exhausted as I usually would. My energy levels remain more consistent, I notice a decrease in my overall sweat levels, and I usually am not dying of thirst like I am when I don't take them.
For normal daily use, I notice that I just generally feel better throughout the day. It's not a big change by any means, but there's definitely an increase in my energy and stamina. When I take these consistently, I notice that I don't have POTS flare-ups nearly as often as I would without them.
