This work is the culmination of a project dedicated to the study of four sheets of lead with Iberian writing from the Ilerget area that had been extracted without authorisation in the early 1980s and that found there way to the Instituto de Estudios Ilerdenses. In 2005, the lead from Olriols (Sant Esteve de Llitera) was presented, as were lead sheets 1 and 2 from Monteró (Camarasa) in 2009 and now finally the lad piece from Tossal del Mor (Tàrrega). The text is very short, with only four segments, all possibly anthroponyms without any added morph. From the palaeographic point of view, it is significant that, for the first time, a complex dual ko sign is documented in the Ilerget area. Regarding the lexis, it is of note that in one of the anthroponyms the element ibeŕ is documented clearly for the first time in an Iberian inscription. Independently of its meaning, it seems plausible to link it to the ethnonym or the river with which the ancient Greeks and Romans identified the Iberians.

Esgrafiado. Abstract: The excavation of a rural settlement near Lleida has allowed the recovery of an important ceramic context dating from the end of the first century to the beginning of the second century AD. The deposit includes a broad representation of terra sigillata and culinary ware of the period. However, the interest of the repertoire resides in the diversity and quantity of the conserved grafitti. The texts were written almost exclusively in Latin, but include some example in Greek. Its content is limited to onomastic representations, although indications of property and insulting or jocular expressions are also identified. This article analyzes one of the fragments, belonging to a jug in common ware, which seems to retain an Iberian onomastic indication and maybe a theonym. This hypothesis would confer a votive character to the inscription.
The document has a slight trapezoidal shape and an approximate dimension of 6 x 2 cm. It is incomplete on the right side, with traces of have been folded, and contents an inscription on the inside, in which there are 28 visible signs of the northoriental writing system, probably not dual, among which there is a three-arm spike sign. It consists of three lines or maybe two if the second and third line would link, with different directions and inclinations, though the signs have always been written from the left to the right. With regard to its content, it can be emphasized the segment tiabeke, that could be repeated at the end of the two most reliable lines, and two known anthroponymic components:m – lbe and m– bar´. It comes from clandestine searches, so we don’t know its archaeological context.
This work analyzes an Iberian inscription over a lead plaque that was found in 2003 bent and twisted in an archaeological context of the fourth century BCE in the Iberian site of Tos Pelat (Moncada, Valencia). The lead plaque consists in fact of two fragments that probably belong to two different plaques originally with the same irregular shape, but now one of them has lost half of its original size. The fragments contain Iberian inscriptions on both sides, some of them overlapping, which are mainly distributed along the edges of the fragments. The inscription consists mainly of pairs of variants of the same sign, so the more plausible interpretation, despite the difficulties of reading, is that they are fragments of at least two Iberian dual signaries. Until now, there was only one Iberian signary known, the signary from Castellet de Bernabé (Llíria, Valencia), also dual and incomplete, but shorter with only five pairs of signs conserved in front to the at least fourteen pairs documented now. The new pairs of signs, some of them unexpected for the standard concept of a dual signary, like the vowels or one of the trills, will provide key information to the advance of the study of dual Iberian writing.

The likely votive context of the Iberian rock inscriptions of Cerdanya makes these inscriptions the best context for identifying Iberian divinity names. However, according to the current knowledge about the Iberian language, both divinity names and personal names would use the same mechanism of composition of two elements and common composition elements, which would make it difficult to distinguish them. In any case, in votive inscriptions the divinity names and personal names develop well differentiated roles, a circumstance that could be reflected in the morphological marks that accompany them. In this work we evaluate the possibility that morpheme er is a morphological mark characteristic of the Iberian divinity names, since the revisions of readings made in recent years allow us to identify a group of elements that are characterized by combining with the morpheme er: artiunaner, okaler, egibaler, idaŕer and uḿmiser And that at least in the inscription revised in this work, it would contrast with the group of elements that would combine with the morpheme I, which would be exclusive to the personal names: tigirsadin and oŕdinkali.
