Syndicate Accountant

HFG are currently working with a London insurer and reinsurer focusing across all lines of business in search of their next Syndicate Accountant. The roll will be responsible for the timely and accurate close of the accounting ledges, along with the preparation and submission of regulatory returns for the Syndicates.

Responsibilities:

• Production of all required quarterly and annual financial Lloyd's Returns
• Preparing Syndicate and Corporate Member Management and annual accounts
• • Contribute to the development of systems for Syndicate reporting.
• Partner with the Underwriting department to produce relevant MI data
• Create efficient and effective methods for tracking financial data
• Assist in the preparation of financial information for consumption by external parties
• Assist the Syndicate manager in any other ad hoc responsibilities

Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) or qualified by experience
• Experience within the Lloyd's insurance market for 4+ years
• Experience in the completion of Lloyd's regulatory returns
