The Pie's are on us! 🥧 One of the segments of the UK population that need to file annual tax returns are CIS workers. It’s a demographic that often relies on friends and family to help with finances or do everything themselves. They are also an audience Pie can help! To reach this market and support our customer acquisition targets we developed an out-of-home campaign to promote Pie to the CIS audience ahead of the end of the 23/24 financial year. The campaign consisted of several elements including paid digital ads, gift cards, street PR and even a guerrilla element where we visited several construction sites handing out free pies to the hungry workforce. it's safe to say they went down a treat with over 800 pies consumed! #tax #rebate #HMRC #fintech #London #taxes #software

The 23/24 tax year ends on 5th April, then it’s time for those eligible to get their tax refunds. Like the Construction Industry Scheme workers!

We secured the personal tax management app Pie a feature in MoneyWeek, the UK's best-selling financial magazine. The article shares Pie's data, which reveals that lower earners missed out on £1.7 billion in Pension Credit in the 2019/20 fiscal year. #Data #Research #PRStrategy

This year, 11.5m amount of people filed their Self Assessments. 778k of those filed on the very last day, the 31st January. It's interesting to see that the majority of people really do put this task off and wait until the last moments to submit. Working on Pie was an exciting prospect. One studio entrusted with both a brand and product design language.
