Job Summary
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities and threats.
Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the sales team.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and achieve targets.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of sales staff.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
Handle high-profile clients and negotiate contracts.
Sales Operations:
Oversee sales operations and ensure efficient processes are in place.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development) to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
Utilize CRM systems to manage sales data and generate reports.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the sales budget.
Monitor sales expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to senior management.
Experience
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
