An exciting role has arisen for a Project Director (ETCS on-board) to join a market leading contractor, reporting to the Regional Director. Role: The successful candidate will lead teams in the successful delivery of ETCS 'on-board' projects in Derby. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with the client at all levels throughout the project Accountable for ensuring safety, quality, environmental, business management systems and fulfilling all contractual responsibilities for allocated projects Regularly reviewing project tasks in line with a valued engineering approach, and mentoring members of the Project Management Team to help improve their execution and commitment Perform periodic reviews of the project tasks in line with a valued engineering approachEssential Requirements: Degree level education in engineering discipline or Higher National Diploma equivalent To gain qualification into a recognised Project Management Institution within 1 year EHS qualifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent is highly desirable Valid Personal Track Safety certification Extensive experience in leading a large, disparate, multi-disciplinary teamDesirable: Principle Investigation course/training/qualification Risk Management training Contribute to innovative projects Collaborate with transverse teams and colleaguesFor further information on this fantastic opportunity contact Sam Riley at Advance TRS Advance TRS are RPO partners for Alstom's permanent staff recruitment drive of rail signalling management, engineering and installation professionals in York, Derby, Birmingham, London, and Bristol, as part of CP7.
