We are looking for a Junior Producer to join our dynamic, award-winning, international team. The role will be in person, based in our London office. The Junior Producer is responsible for project management, from initial client briefing through to creative execution and delivery. The Junior Producer works directly with clients with topline support from the Producers and Head of Production, while simultaneously managing internal resources to ensure the delivery of the project is on time, on budget and delivered to the highest creative quality. You will be responsible for supporting the client relationships across several projects. A love of film and entertainment is essential.

 

Please note, that this is an in-person office-based role in Shoreditch, London. 

 

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support Producers and Head of Production with marketing campaign content creation across AV projects, while also leading on some projects, from client briefing to end-project delivery
  • Oversee the post-production workflow for projects – from job beginnings to finishing, mixing, and online to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Work with both client and internal teams to understand positioning, messaging, budget and target demographic
  • Work collaboratively across all Intermission departments: Creative Directors, Editors, Producers, Graphics, Music, Copywriters and Finance
  • Write briefs, communicating concept, and supervising execution - ensure that creative output meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Review projects and ensure integrity of creative, cost and strategic positioning, ensuring all projects remain within budget, and invoiced by month-end
  • Build positive, productive and professional relationships with all internal and external clients
  • Mentor Production Assistants and create a positive collaborative and training environment
  • Ensure all material/deliverables are cleared, licensed and supplied via the appropriate partners in the correct format with an excellent eye for quality control
  • Organise and undertake music searches and supervision, copywriting, script creation and pitch docs
  • Create document deliverables - making CCSL scripts, subtitle files, cue sheets
  • Source voice-over artists, format voiceover scripts, book voiceover sessions
  • Ensure all material is cleared and licensed through the appropriate clearance bodies (E.G.Clearcast/ RACC/ BBFC/ CAA/ MCPS)
  • Build a great black book of contacts across clients and freelancers

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • 3 years+ industry experience, in a creative agency or entertainment marketing team
  • Good creative skills and sense of storytelling; self-motivated and diligent
  • Awareness of the phases of pre-production, production and post-production
  • Demonstrated time management, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced and reactive environment and be a force for calm under pressure
  • Adaptable and reveals in change
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Discreet and tactful with an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and data protection
  • Awareness of Avid or Premiere workflows a benefit
  • Experience dealing with TV trafficking and clearance bodies preferred
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Keen interest in film and TV, and enthusiasm to learn
