HR Manager – UK

Our client is a growing SME developing novel treatments for patients with unmet medical need in the life sciences industry. This internationally headquartered company is financially strong, with plans to continue to grow and invest in the UK. Today, the client has operations in the UK, US, APAC, and Switzerland and a number of core functions sit within the UK. Until today, HR has been managed remotely, and due to continued growth plans for the UK we seek a strong HR Generalist / HR Manager to join this purpose driven organisation.

The HR Manager will be responsible for full employee lifecycle for all those employees in the UK – hire to retire. Tasks will include things such as onboarding, off boarding, recruitment, employee relations, growth and succession planning, processes and procedure, UK employment law etc, benefits.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a HR generalist and have achieved CIPD qualifications. As a people focused business, the candidate should be approachable and engaging and willing to develop trusted personal relationships with employees at all levels from intern to C Suite, and be comfortable in a standalone position.

Key Requirements:

• Strong HR Generalist experience
• Willing to be based in a modern office environment for 3 days per week
• Ability to plan, organise and deliver with minimal supervision
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law
• Ability to create meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
