Born in April 2020 and created by two entrepreneurial siblings, Akash & Nikita Mehta, Fable & Mane has taken the beauty world by storm, revolutionising the hair care category to become one of the best-selling brands in Sephora. Having recently launched in Cult Beauty, Nykaa, Selfridges and with many new products in the pipeline, we are looking to grow our family.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The International Head of Sales will be responsible for growing the business in terms of market share, net revenues and profitability, ensuring sustainable growth, in Europe, Middle East and Asia markets. To ensure brand standards are achieved and in line with brand image and positioning, the role also covers sell-out, net revenues, forecasting, trade marketing, visual merchandising, training, budgeting and P&L management. The role requires a results-driven individual with proven sales expertise, capable of building strong retailer partnerships and expanding the business for the markets in charge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial & market development
Monitor the premium hair care market, identifying trends, distribution channels, and competitors, looking for opportunities to always grow the business
Identify actions and opportunities for profitable growth in current accounts, and define a scalable retail sales strategy to expand the brand across the markets in charge
Key account management
Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts
Drive joint business plans, promotions and activations with the accounts
Monitor and analyse performance metrics (sales, forecasts, stock)
Work closely with marketing team to maximize 360 brand building
Manage contract, margin negotiations and setting commercial terms
Follow up on order to cash and registrations
Define and monitor distribution policy
Drive distribution roll-out while ensuring shelf productivity KPIs
Classify, segment and prioritize doors to improve space, location and image
Conduct regular store visits and secure implementation of merchandising guidelines
Provide training and build field team when required
Define and monitor A&P expenditures
Define and monitor A&P budgets
Lead the planning and implementation of detailed trade plans per market to meet sales objectives and gain market share
Review and follow up on trade and launch plans, and training plans
Team Management
Motivate and lead 2 direct reports in sales and retail marketing
Collaborate with marketing, PR, digital teams to boost sales
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Proven experience working in European, Middle East and India markets
A background in beauty, haircare, fragrance or other similar field
Track record of working with Sephora EU, Sephora ME, and Douglas is a plus
Must have a passion for account management over new business
Must be able to travel to to Europe, Middle East and India
Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
