Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for experiential marketing? A leading agency in Central London is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead their growth efforts. This pivotal role offers a competitive salary circa £100k + bonus + great benefits, and a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).


About the Role:

As the Head of Business Development, you will drive the agency’s expansion and foster client relationships. Your expertise in experiential marketing within an agency setting will be crucial in crafting and executing successful growth strategies. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach, collaborating across the agency to nurture existing clients and attract new business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business growth strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals, identifying new business opportunities and setting ambitious growth targets with the executive team.
  • Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and onboarding, while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with client services and creative teams to develop and present compelling pitches, integrating creative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Enhance the agency’s market positioning and brand awareness through strategic initiatives, impactful marketing campaigns, and staying abreast of industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry gaps, and areas for growth, analysing data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborating with industry influencers and thought leaders to boost the agency’s visibility.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing business development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture across departments.
  • Manage budgets related to growth initiatives, establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to the executive team on growth metrics and opportunities

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in business development in an agency setting, particularly within experiential marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the national experiential marketing landscape.
