Group Financial Director/Controller | London, Hybrid | PE Backed | £150,000 to £185,000 + Package, LTIP & Bonus

Goodman Masson are partnering with a market-leading PE backed Technology business on their search for a new Group Financial Director/Controller, firmly number 2 to the CFO, offering succession planning into this role. This is a leadership role, driving change and transformation across the finance function.

With a number of further acquisitions in the pipeline, the business will look to exit its current PE investor over the next few years and as such is looking for a high calibre Group Financial Controller who will bring rigour and structure to the finance function and help professionalise the business further leading up to exit.

As a business partner to senior leadership, you will have responsibility for all financial matters relating to the business including bank relationships, managing the audit, interface with the PE investor, recruitment, development and retention of the appropriate resource within the finance team. Reports to a highly impressive Group CFO.

This role will lead their global finance transformation program - designing and developing a best in class finance function. Other general responsibilities include managing financial reporting, group consolidation, tax, treasury, finance operations and M&A/corporate development teams. You will also play a vital role in strategy, and support the Head of FP&A/Commercial with profit driving initiatives, as well as developing robust financial models to allow the business to operate at its optimum efficiency. Team of ~20.

We are looking for a highly ambitious, technically sound, qualified accountant with experience of operating in as Group Financial Controller during a period of high transformation, ideally with experience working for PE backed organisations. If you have overseen a PE exit, this is another huge plus.

Candidates must be ACA qualified & practice trained.
