Here's how you can successfully guide teams through the process of innovation.
Teams don't work in a vacuum and individuals tend to have multiple team memberships. This offers an opportunity to take ideas and new concepts beyond your core team to trusted colleagues and peers. Sense check, kick the tyres and intentionally bring the outside in. Work to create engagement throughout the process and secure buy-in from key stakeholders. Who does the innovation actually serve? What is its purpose? Otherwise huge amounts of effort may go to waste because you can't engage your organisation, key decision makers or end users, no matter how brilliant your idea.

I also volunteered for the EMCC Global Research Centre for Excellence, which focuses on developing evidence based research in coaching, team coaching, mentoring and supervision.
