  • BPS Scottish Branch Postgraduate Conference 2024 The BPS Scottish Branch Postgraduate Research Day is scheduled for Friday 6th September 2024 co-hosted by the School of Applied Social Studies, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. The event aims to bring together PGR and PGT students, to share their research and find out about opportunities available to PG students post-graduation. This is a great opportunity for PG students to present their work to an external audience, network with staff and students from across different Scottish institutions and discuss how you can use psychology in a range of careers with our panel of experts. This event will comprise of presentations and posters by postgraduate students from all over Scotland. Prizes will be awarded for best abstract, best poster and best presentation. This event is open to postgraduate taught (MSc, MSc conversion) and postgraduate research (MRes, PhD, DPsych) psychology students, academics and practitioners and will be held in person. Location: Sir Ian Wood Building Robert Gordon University Garthdee Road Aberdeen AB10 7GJ Attendance is free but registration is required. Bookings will close on Friday 23rd August 2024.   • BPS Psychobiology Section Annual Scientific Meeting This two day event is the Annual Scientific Meeting for the Section of Psychobiology and will include a themed symposium on 'Addiction and Substance Use', a keynote speaker in the pub, an afternoon of punting and two open communications sessions and a poster session.
