    To represent IBD Patients in the South Wales area, and ensure that they receive, consistent and high-quality care and that IBD services meet at least the minimum standard of the IBD Standards. Highlights during my tenure include the consideration of a petition to make Local Health Boards accountable for the IBD Standards by the Welsh Assembly Petitions Committee, a very successful IBD Awareness Walk in Swansea in 2015, as well as strengthening and developing working relationships with IBD Nurses, Clinicians and Politicians across Wales.
