    Our CEO powerhouse Fiona Gordon was on BBC One's BBC News this morning talking to Tadhg Enright about the impact of the Euro's result on brands and businesses for Spain and England. Fiona Gordon: "This summer of sport is what Ogilvy UK calls the collective economy - global sporting experiences breaking down boundaries and building connection. Behavioural Science reveals national sporting events create collective euphoria, so people celebrate the country as much as the sport. The Olympics and Paralympics are just weeks away, brands that can authentically tap into that inclusivity will be the winners, no matter the result. And let’s not forget the Gareth Southgate effect. He gave the team space to pursue their personal values, these young lads use their platforms for change on equality, inclusivity, and community.     Coca-Cola has launched ‘it’s magic when the world comes together,’ a new brand campaign for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Developed by WPP Open X led by Ogilvy and supported by EssenceMediacom, VML and Hogarth, the campaign celebrates the ‘Real Magic’ of human connection, inclusivity, cross-cultural connection and the collective power of sport to unify people and celebrate their differences.     With Pride Month 2024 coming to a close, we’re thrilled to announce that Lucy Avent-Wells and Matt Smith are joining Ellen Batty as co-chairs for Ogilvy’s LGBTQ+ network PROUD. Picking up the baton from Katrina Hedditch and Sam Johnson, the supergroup will take the reins in bringing Ogilvy’s LGBTQ+ community together, acting as an advisory board for clients and colleagues, and championing progress in our wider industry. Lets go! Ellen Batty: “I am thrilled to be welcoming Matt and Lucy to the team as fellow co-chairs. Their passion and expertise will be instrumental in all that we do, undoubtedly driving our efforts to new heights. This marks an exciting new chapter for PROUD and I look forward to working together." Matt Smith and Lucy Avent-Wells: "We are very excited to take on our new roles as PROUD co-chairs, trying to fill the big boots being left by the extremely talented Sam and Katrina, whose hard work has developed PROUD into the community it is today.
