Award-winning giving platform that helps businesses donate volunteer time, money and surplus to local good causes.
About us
Neighbourly is an award-winning giving platform that helps businesses make a positive impact in their communities by donating volunteer time, money and surplus products, all in one place. We were founded in 2014 with the aim of helping businesses deliver meaningful and sustainable community investment, into thousands of locations across the UK and Ireland. We believe that by putting local impact at the heart of responsible business we can create a system that works for everyone. We’ve grown into an award-winning, market leading CSR platform that serves some of the world's biggest companies and supports thousands of local good causes working to improve lives and habitats in our neighbourhoods. In 2015 we became one of the UK’s very first B Corporations, meaning we’re a for-profit company certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social responsibility and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Being a B Corp underpins our core values and belief that business can be a force for good. Together with our fellow B Corps around the world we are redefining how sustainable communities are built and what success in business means. In 2020 we were accredited by the Good Business Charter, launched the Neighbourly Foundation to provide continued financial support to local community causes. The Neighbourly Foundation is now a Marks & Spencer Sparks Charity. Recent events in the UK have highlighted the critical importance of standing united in our pursuit for equality, inclusivity, and connection. It is crucial, now more than ever, to support those who may feel unsafe or have been affected by the unacceptable anti-immigrant and far-right violence within our communities. If you have been affected by the recent disturbances and are in need of assistance, or you are a member of a business who wishes to help, please get in contact via the link in our comments.

Good food is for everyone. Through our partnership with Neighbourly, we have donated the equivalent of 81k meals, reaching 239 good causes. Each meal represents a story about how food connects people. For example, Sankofa Storytelling Arts in Somers Town share our bakes during the drama classes they hold for vulnerable adults and children. FoodCycle incorporate our food into a nourishing meal for locals in Marylebone. The Dwayne Simpson Foundation break bread as part of their Soup and Support project in Brixton, while the residents at Grace House, a female-only complex needs accommodation service, appreciate a good slice of cake.

💙🎉 Team building with a purpose for the Neighbourly volunteering engagement day Yesterday, we put our principles into practice and saw employees across different teams come together in locations around Bristol to volunteer for local charities and community causes. We encourage staff to volunteer year-round but organising peak volunteering activity is a great way of maximising volunteering impact ⛰️ If you're interested in organising a peak, day, week or month of volunteering, or just want to learn more about how our programmes work, follow the link in the comments 👇

The local-first approach is reshaping how we think about Corporate Social Responsibility 📍❤️ Investing closer to home sends a powerful message: "we care about our communities." And consumers are paying attention... Neighbourly's latest trust research found that: 🤝 69% of people in the UK say they are more likely to trust a company that supports local charities 💸 89% are more likely to buy goods or services from a brand they trust As a platform that connects businesses with small charities and community causes, Neighbourly has long understood the value of giving at a local level in developing trust between stakeholders.
