    When your loved ones are thousands of miles away, good communication is key. And no one knows that more than the team at Sandboxx 🔑 📬 Sandboxx, a mobile app focused on connecting the military community through military mail, content, and community, was looking to expand on their success connecting the military community by delivering a more holistic, relevant, real-time experience to customers. Although they were already engaging via email–with 11.2 million unique sends in 2023 alone–they knew that email was not enough. The solution: adding Iterable’s Embedded Messaging to their communication strategy. Embedded Messaging allowed Sandboxx to populate personalized content directly into their product, targeting multiple locations within the app. Each of the messages were fully dynamic, allowing the team to remove or update what users are seeing in real-time based on their unique customer profiles.     Despite their plans to ditch third-party cookies (a.k.a. Privacy Sandbox) in Chrome for good, Google announced they’re keeping them around. After testing and receiving feedback, Google realized that crumbling this cookie was going to be more complex than they thought. 🍪💻 Instead of removing third-party cookies, they’re rolling out a "new experience" in Chrome with more privacy controls and IP protection in Incognito mode. Marketers, you can breathe a sigh of relief. But don’t forget: zero- and first-party data are still the golden tickets for personalized user experiences.
