We've kicked off Day 2 of Conference Proper at #DFNICruise24, and the day began with an expert panel titled: The Cruise Retail Space – From Concept to Customer Conversion. During this session, Harding+ CCO Peter Newbould, Sabine Muhlberger of Princess Cruise Lines, and Mark Birnie, COO, Harding+ discussed retail onboard new ship Sun Princess, focusing on how the retail areas were shaped to be a key part of the whole cruise experience - not just an add on. The retail areas onboard Sun Princess are interconnected so customers can flow through with ease, have seating areas to encourage dwell time, and operate as flexible spaces.
