Eco-Friendly Materials: Our seats are primarily constructed from recyclable materials such as aluminum and SEKISUI KYDEX plastic, ensuring that our products have a reduced environmental footprint right from the start. 2. Efficient Supply Chain: We take pride in having one of the shortest supply chains in the industry. Supported by the robust Northern Irish supply chain as well as our own capability, our POA approved assembly facility is just 1.5 meters away from our AS9100 Rev D approved manufacturing capability. This proximity, along with avoiding long-distance shipping routes, minimizes transportation emissions and boosts efficiency. 3. Lightweight Design: Our seats are among the lightest on the market, weighing in at under 99kg. This not only enhances fuel efficiency, leading to lower carbon emissions, but also contributes to overall operational cost savings for airlines. 4. Clean Energy Commitment: We are committed to running our AS9100 Rev D manufacturing plant on clean electricity produced by an anaerobic digester and other renewables. This initiative will further lower the environmental impact of our products, aligning with our sustainability goals. While we don’t have a quantified ESG score yet, these initiatives clearly demonstrate our dedication to sustainability and innovation. Exciting progress at AliceBluAero ✈️ We are thrilled to share that we have made significant strides in the production build of our certification test seats. With every step of the build meticulously timed, photographed, and observations made, we are now fine-tuning and balancing our single piece flow production line. This means we can cope with the inevitable ramp up and help us scale smoothly. As Claire Stranaghan aptly put it, “Since AIX, the team has been extremely busy reviewing our takt times and starting to carry out line balancing on the production line to prepare for our growth capacity plan. All standard work is in place and we are preparing for the operational excellence our customers deserve.” This reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
