Opening Hours Service & Collection

The opening hours of the individual locations are on this page. Always check the current situation on this page before you leave.

Going to location?

Bring your college card, employee card or library card. Unfortunately, access is not possible without a pass. Please note that library locations during exam periods are only accessible to UvA students and employees. All other pass holders can only pick up and return materials during these periods. Adjusted opening hours during summer 

Adjusted opening hours for Service & Collection for the library locations below in the period from July 8 to September 1:

  • University Library Singel (from July 13): Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00 | Weekend 10:00-18:00
  • P.C. Hoofthuis Library: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00
  • Library Learning Centre (REC H): Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00. Closed on weekends
  • Science Park Library: Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00
  • Law Library (REC A) (from July 1): Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00
