Manipur BJP prez meets Shah, seeks solution to ongoing crisis
Guwahati: Manipur BJP chief A Sharda Devi said Union home minister Amit Shah has conveyed to her that the Centre understands the sensitive circumstances in the state and is dedicated to fulfilling the desires of the populace.
Shah’s meeting with Devi in New Delhi on Thursday was one of several discussions he is conducting regarding Manipur.
Devi wrote on social media that she met the home minister “for an extensive discussion on the current situation in Manipur.”
“Conveyed the people’s aspirations and urged immediate attention to bring permanent solution and tranquility to the state, while appreciating the ongoing efforts,” Devi added.

She also “highlighted the need for resettling IDPs and providing maximum support for smooth rehabilitation.”
