Padang aspires to be at the forefront of the global movement towards a #NetZero future. One year ago, we embarked on a mission with Enterprise Singapore to discover and support the best startups from Singapore and beyond (65 countries!) through the Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge (SOIC). Last Thursday’s finale event, graced by Enterprise Singapore Chairman, Mr Lee Chuan Teck, was the culmination and celebration of this remarkable journey. We thank all the startups and SMEs, investors, corporates, partners and other ecosystem enablers, who helped make SOIC 2023 a success. The event featured these stand-out solutions: - GAFT - Sustainable Aviation Fuel Technology (Frank Schreurs Martin Spencer): Sustainable aviation fuel; also the winner of The Liveability Challenge - AC Biode (Robert Kunzmann ♻️): CO2 capture with air filters, turning carbon into glass - Alchemist Material Inc. (Tatsunori Suzuki): Converting waste into hydrogen - Living Carbon PBC (Maddie Hall): Advanced biotech for afforestation on degraded land - Green Koncepts (Larry Yap Kenneth Lee): Make spaces more intelligent and sustainable - iFloat Solar (Dr. Thomas Reindl): Self-buoyant solar PV modules - Transitry (Navarun A.): Sustainability risk management platform Hearing the buzz at the networking reception, we know the work doesn’t end here. There were more ecosystem connections made, and no doubt business collaborations and even investments. We caught up with old friends and met new ones in the sustainability space. This is how we build a stronger ecosystem for sustainable growth.🌍💡 Adam Lyle | Derrick Chiang | Divakar Subramaniam | Nur Syamin Binte Abdullah | Boon Kim (BK) Tan | Dingzhi Han | Sylvia Phay | Li Wen Poh #SOIC2023 #SustainabilityInnovation #OpenInnovationSG #EnterpriseSingapore
