This morning, close to 5,000 participants joined us at the Income Eco Run (IER), where we pledged to donate $1 to the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) for every KM run! Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment, Amy Khor, graced the event as our Guest of Honour, leading the flag-off with our Chief Executive, Andrew Yeo spottingly ran 5KM for the cause. Collectively, participants clocked nearly 60,000 KM, and raised $60,000 for the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) in support of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. This was 50% more than last year! 🙌🏻 This year, IER pushed the boundaries even further for the zero waste cause in these unprecedented ways: - Running bibs were 65% smaller than the industry standard. - Participants of the Kids Category wore special bibs made of seed paper, which can be planted and grown into plants. - Hydration points used only plastic-free cups and are hence, 100% recyclable. - Food waste, e.g. banana peels, was composted where possible. - Carbon footprint of the event, including participants' commute and IER tees purchased will be offset. Heightening the inclusivity ante, we added a Kids category so that the young ones can join and get a head start on their journey towards sustainable living. Inspiring actions beyond the run, our green partners at the Income Eco Village raised public awareness for a range of topics, from the harms of fast fashion to meatless food options. We also had participants pledging to "Tread Lightly, Live Gently", facilitated by our green partner Tzuchi Foundation for more to commit to simple changes to their daily habits like taking public transportation, reducing disposables, and including more meatless options in their diet. A big shout out to all our partners and participants for making this year’s Income Eco Run a success! Here’s to building a more sustainable and resilient future for all. 💚 #IncomeInsurance #IncomeEcoRun #TowardsZeroWaste Singapore Environment Council (SEC), Tzuchi Foundation, Esprimo, Imagine+, National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), PAssionCard, Singapore Athletics, Ice Mountain, 100PLUS, Foopak, Running Department, Pressio, Share Transport, Anywheel, Sustainable Office Solutions (SOS), ALBA Group Asia, Allianz Global Investors

We are excited to share that we have committed to a five-year sponsorship to the Singapore Athletics (SA) with the launch of the Income Insurance Athletics Development Fund! The annual sponsorship of S$100K over the next five years will primarily provide enhanced support to SA in funding overseas training and competitions, aligning with preparations for the highly anticipated SEA Games in 2029 to be hosted in Singapore. The new fund will expand the opportunity for SA to groom athletic talents from a younger age across multiple disciplines, with exposure to international athletes and training facilities. This will give these medal-hopefuls an earlier head start to boost their sports performance and competitive edge. The sponsorship, the biggest of its kind for SA to date, will benefit the athletes across three disciplines (run, throw, and jumps) in SA’s National Development Squad who have been identified as possessing the potential to qualify for any of the major athletics competitions, such as the SEA Games, Asian Games, and the Olympics. We look forward to fostering athletic excellence and striving further together with our national athletes as #TeamSingapore! 🇸🇬 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gdEfPhHG

We are pleased to be recognised as a Gold awardee of the WARC Awards Asia Pacific* in the “Instant Impact” category for Trapped, our short travel horror film! 🥇 Directed by renowned local director, Kelvin Tong, Trapped depicted the horrors of being trapped in a sub-par hotel after contracting Covid-19. Together with the film, we also launched an escape room inspired by its narrative, which was experienced by 2,600 visitors. The effective campaign resulted in a revenue growth of 45.2% and a 61.1% uplift in customer acquisition, marking the impact of such innovative, untraditional marketing strategies. The win is not just an accolade, it is testament to the culture of innovation that we have always encouraged and fostered at Income Insurance. 💡 Special shout out to BBH Asia Pacific (Singapore) and our team for the remarkable feat! 🥳 *The WARC Awards takes into consideration the creative effectiveness and other requirements of every entry before determining a single Gold, Silver, and Bronze winner in the region.

Fun under the sun at the Income Family Day, held in conjunction with the Income Eco Run! ☀️ The morning was filled with bright smiles and laughter as our employees and their loved ones bonded over arts and crafts, exciting stage games, and treasured conversations. Held at the scenic Marina Barrage, our employees and their guests enjoyed one another's company, invoking a sense of connection and camaraderie which we all value in the workplace. As part of championing the zero waste cause, employees were treated to an array of workshops that were all focused on sustainability. From using recycled yarn to make our own coasters, to creating eco-friendly plant pots made from coconut husks, we were introduced to a myriad of do-it-yourself crafts that encourage a more sustainable lifestyle. Many of the attendees, especially the kids, left the event with their handmade mementos which serve as reminders of how every individual can build a more resilient future by contributing in our own little ways. 🧡 Check out the highlights reel to see what went down and remember to follow us on LinkedIn for more buzz!
