Last Thursday, AIA Group Corporate Solutions & AIA Singapore held a successful "AI for HR: Are You Onboard?" event.    🌟Over 120 HR professionals convened at Sands Expo and Convention Centre to delve into AI’s transformative power in HR, gaining insights from industry experts through compelling keynote sessions.   🌟 To kick things off, our Director of Multinational Business Ambra Debernardi, shared AIA's vision for AI and GenAI, highlighting how these technologies can supercharge our services and support valued customers.    🌟 Renowned HR thought leader Fermin Diez - PhD, SPHR, GRP, IHRP-MP, FSID, captivated his audience with his keynote on "Using AI in HR,” offering practical tips and actionable insights for seamless AI integration in HR functions.   🌟 Mr. Anish Lalchandani delivered a thought-provoking keynote on "Humanising Work in the Age of AI" emphasising the importance of human-centered approaches through people-centric design and leading with Empathy and Care. His book, "The Skills Advantage: A Human-Centred, Sustainable & Scalable Approach to Reskilling" offers valuable insights on adapting to the cultural and mindset shifts in this AI-driven world.    🌟 This was followed by the Panel Discussion moderated by Cynthia Tan and featuring speakers Fermin Diez - PhD, SPHR, GRP, IHRP-MP, FSID, Anish Lalchandani, Co-Founder and CEO (International) of Engage Rocket Dorothy Yiu, and Clara Chua, Principal of People Analytics and Workforce Transformation, HR at AIA Singapore, exploring the delicate balance between technology and humanity in HR.   Dorothy offered valuable insights on quantifying ROI of wellbeing initiatives, leveraging EngageRocket’s expertise to enhance workplace experiences through data-driven strategies. Clara, from an organisational standpoint, discussed how AIA integrates AI across various processes and the importance of developing digital literacy. Our AIA Group Chief Executive and President Lee Yuan Siong has recently been appointed as the Chairman of The Geneva Association, becoming the first Asia-based Chairman in the association’s history! For the past 50 years, The Geneva Association has been at the forefront of investigating key risk areas in the insurance industry, developing effective recommendations, and providing a vital platform for industry leaders, policymakers and other various stakeholders worldwide to discuss important topics relevant to insurers. Mr Lee's remarkable achievement marks a significant milestone for the #AIAFamily. As Chairman, he will now lead this prestigious global coalition of insurance companies, whose members consist exclusively of CEOs from insurance and reinsurance firms. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Lee had served as Vice Chairman of the association since 2021.
