What is A+ Content?

A+ Content is a tool that helps you showcase your products and share your brand’s story by adding videos, enhanced images, customized text placements, shoppable product-comparison charts, and more to your product detail pages. Use this tool to enhance your listings, drive brand awareness, encourage repeat purchases, and increase sales.

There are three types of A+ Content:
  • Basic: Elevate your product descriptions and highlight key features with images, customized text placements, and shoppable product-comparison charts.
  • Premium: Offer more engaging and informative product listings by adding larger images, videos, interactive hotspots that allow customers to hone in on product features, clickable image or video carousels, question and answer (Q&A) modules, and shoppable product-comparison charts.
  • Brand Story: Share your brand's story, values, and mission across all your product listings. Located under “From the brand," your story can also help drive traffic to your brand by offering links to your Amazon Brand Store and other products in your catalog.

Who can use A+ Content?

To use A+ Content, you need a Professional selling account. You also need to be a brand representative for a brand enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry (login required) or have generic products in your catalog.

The A+ Content Manager in Seller Central makes it easy to create and manage your content by offering preformatted layouts you can customize.

Translate or create variations of your content
Simply duplicate existing content to translate it into various languages, or use it as a template for product variations.

Run A/B tests to improve A+ Content
Use the Manage Your Experiments tool to run A/B tests. Compare two versions of A+ Content to find out what drives the most sales.

Ready to get started?

Step 1.
Log in to Seller Central
Log in to your Seller Central account or sign up as a seller. Make sure you have a Professional selling plan so you can use A+ Content.
Step 2.
Enroll your brand
If you’re the rights owner for an eligible brand, enroll it in Brand Registry. Or, if you’re employed by an enrolled brand, ask the rights owner or another administrator to assign you the brand representative selling role (login required).
Step 3.
Create your content
Hover over Advertising in the Seller Central main menu, then click A+ Content Manager. From the A+ Content Manager page, click Start creating A+ Content and select the content type you want to create.

On the Content details page, create your content by adding and customizing content modules.
Step 4.
Apply content to your products
Once you’ve created your content, click Apply ASINs to select the products you want to apply it to. Once selected, click Apply Content.
Step 5.
Submit content for review
Once you’ve applied content to your products, submit it for review. It will usually be reviewed within seven business days. You can check its status anytime from the A+ Content Manager page.

How much does A+ Content cost?
Basic and Brand Story A+ Content are free. For sellers who meet eligibility requirements, access to Premium A+ Content is also available at no cost during this promotional period for all brand-owned products.

If we begin to charge for Premium A+ Content, we’ll announce the cost and give you the opportunity to opt-in. We won’t charge you without your consent.
What type of content can I include in A+ Content?
You can include a variety of engaging of A+ Content in your product listings. Some examples include lifestyle photos, videos, interactive hotspots that highlight key product features, and shoppable product-comparison charts that list multiple products from your brand and offer “Add to Cart” functionality.

A+ Content is subject to the same guidelines that apply to other product detail page content, along with additional guidelines specific to A+ Content.
What are the requirements for using Premium A+ Content?
To use Premium A+ Content, you must have the following:
  1. A published Brand Story module on all of your brand-owned products.
  2. Five published A+ Content projects in the last 12 months.

What is Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) A+ Content?
When you self-publish a book through KDP, you can add A+ Content like videos, enhanced images, and product-comparison charts to engage readers and make your book stand out. A+ Content is located under the “From the Publisher” section on the product detail page.

Note: A+ Content is not yet supported for products sold through Seller Central in the Books, Music, Video, or DVD (BMVD) categories.
