CoStar (NASDAQ:CSGP) voluntarily withdrew and refiled its HSR notification for its planned purchase of Matterport (NASDAQ:MTTR).
The waiting period under the HSR ACT is now set to expire on July 3, according to an amended proxy filing earlier Monday. CoStar (CSGP) submitted a filing under the U.K.’s National Security and Investment Act 2021 on May 7 and CoStar also submitted a briefing paper to the UK Competition and Markets Authority on June 5.
CoStar (CSGP) agreed in April to acquire spatial data company Matterport (MTTR) in a cash and stock transaction valued at $5.50 per share reflecting an estimated $1.6 billion of enterprise value.
Matterport (MTTR) shares fell 0.7% on Monday, while CoStar (CSGP) ticked higher by 0.3%.
