The most overbought stocks per their 14-day relative strength index include Global Ship Lease (GSL), UL Solutions (ULS), and Danaos (DAC). The most oversold stocks per their 14-day Relative Strength Index include Leggett & Platt (LEG), Dlocal (DLO), and Coursera (COUR). Short interest is still sky-high on Faraday Future Intelligent Electric (FFIE) and MicroCloud Hologram (HOLO).
- Earnings watch - Notable companies due to report include Gitlab (GTLB) and Science Applications (SAIC).
- All day - The COMPUTEX Taiwan conference will include keynote speeches from Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang, AMD (AMD) CEO Lisa Su, and Arm (ARM) CEO Rene Haas. Microsoft (MSFT), Intel (INTC) and Qualcomm (QCOM) will also have notable presences at COMPUTEX.
- All day - Macau casino stocks will be on watch after gross gaming revenue numbers for May are released over the weekend. The highly-anticipated G2E Asia international gaming trade show and conference could also lead to some analyst updates for the sector.
- All day - The four-day Nareit REITweek conference will begin in New York City. The list of executives due to participate includes Digital Realty (DLR) CEO Andy Power, Safehold (SAFE) CEO Jay Sugarman, Tanger (SKT) CEO Stephen Yalof, Invitation Homes (INVH) CEO Dallas Tanner, VICI Properties (VICI) CEO Edward Pitoniak, Public Storage (PSA) CEO Joe Russell, Realty Income (O) CEO Sumit Roy, SL Green Realty (SLG) CFO Matthew DiLiberto, and Equinix (EQIX) CFO Keith Taylor. Analysts have tipped off that the conference will be important as the market starts to think about FFO growth expectations for next year.
- All day - The four-day Cisco (CSCO) Live Global event will begin in Las Vegas. CEO Chuck Robbins will be one of the speakers. Shares of Cisco (CSCO) have seen a bounce in the past following analyst reactions to the event.
- All day - Precigen (PGEN) will host a webcast following the late-breaking oral presentation of results from the pivotal study of PRGN-2012.
Tuesday - June 4
- Earnings watch - Notable companies due to report include Crowdstrike (CRWD), PVH (PVH), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and Bath & Body Works (BBWI).
- All day - Li-Cycle (LICY) will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis following its 1-for-8 reverse stock split.
- All day - The three-day Jefferies Global Healthcare Conference will begin. The long list of participating companies includes Aldeyra Therapeutics (ALDX), Savara (SVRA), Agilent (A), and Gilead Sciences (GILD).
- All day - The Deutsche Bank Global Consumer Conference in Paris will include presentations or fireside chats from Kraft Heinz (KHC), Kellanova (K), Sysco (SYY), Procter & Gamble (PG), Starbucks (SBUX), and Philip Morris International (PM). The conference has led to share price moves in the past based on fresh updates of management expectations.
- All day - Snowflake (SNOW) will hold its Investor Day 2024 event. The company is also holding its data cloud summit during the week. Snowflake (SNOW) rallied during last year's event when it announced a new generate AI partnership with Nvidia (NVDA).
- All day - Super Micro Computer (SMCI) will be on watch with CEO Charles Liang and other executives speaking at the BofA Securities 2024 Global Technology Conference.
- All day - The quiet period ends on ZEEKR Intelligent Technology (ZK) to free up analysts to post ratings. Zeekr traded more than 20% higher than its IPO pricing level at the time of publication.
Wednesday - June 5
- Earnings watch - Notable companies due to report include Lululemon (LULU), Dollar Tree (DLTR), Brown-Forman (BF.A), Campbell Soup (CPB), and Five Below (FIVE). Options trading implies double-digit share price swings for United Natural Foods (UNFI) and Victoria's Secret (VSCO) after their reports.
- All day - Notable investor events include Hamilton Lane's (HLNE) Investor Day, US Foods' (USFD) Investor Day, AMC Entertainment's (AMC) annual meeting, PACCAR's (PCAR) investor meeting, and Walmart's (WMT) high-profile annual meeting in Bentonville, Arkansas. Walmart (WMT) shareholders will vote on proposals covering executive compensation, employee wage policies, gestation crates, and financial sustainability.
- All day - GreenPower Motor Company (GP) will unveil a new, state-of-the-art, all-electric refrigerated truck at Home Delivery World.
- All day - The European Association for the Study of the Liver conference will begin. Analysts have Akero Therapeutics (AKRO), 89bio (ETNB), Madrigal Pharmaceuticals (MDGL), Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO), and Eli Lilly (LLY) circled as some of the healthcare companies to watch for notable presentations.
Thursday - June 6
- Earnings watch - Notable companies due to report include Samsara (IOT), Docusign (DOCU), J.M. Smucker (SJM), and NIO (NIO). Options trading implies a double-digit share price swing for Rent the Runway (RENT) after it reports.
- All day - Notable investor events include Lululemon's (LULU) annual meeting, Alphabet's (GOOG) annual meeting, and Lyft's (LYFT) Investor Day.
- 7:15 a.m. - The European Central Bank will release a policy statement. The ECB is expected to announce a rate cut.
Friday - June 7
- All day - Walmart (WMT) will host its traditional Friday Associates Celebration at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- All day - STRATA Skin Sciences (SSKN) will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis following the 1-for-10 reverse stock split.
- All day - Nvidia's (NVDA) 10-for-1 stock split will become effective at the end of the trading day.
- All day - Entergy (ETR) will host its 2024 Analyst Day conference. Chief Executive Officer Drew Marsh and members of Entergy's executive management team plan to discuss the company's growth opportunities and business strategies.
- All day - Oscar Health (OSCR) will host its Investor Day event. Management will discuss the company's corporate strategy, financial performance, and long-term financial targets.
- All day - The go-shop period on the acquisition of U.S. Silica (SLCA) by Apollo Global Management (APO) expires.
- 8:30 a.m. The May U.S. Jobs Report will be released.
