Today marks the first day of trading in Trill Impact’s portfolio company Cinclus Pharma on Nasdaq Stockholm. The listing is an important milestone that enables continued development of the company’s drug candidate linaprazan glurate, which aims to improve the medical outcomes for patients suffering from severe stomach acid-related disorders worldwide.   Nina Rawal, Partner at Trill Impact Advisory and Co-head of Trill Impact Ventures was present when the opening bell rang this morning.   “It is of course very exciting to see Cinclus Pharma being listed on Nasdaq Stockholm today. To us, the fact that Cinclus Pharma has attracted investor interest in the current financial climate, is a great testament to the quality of the asset and the strong management team. When Trill Impact invested in Cinclus Pharma a couple of years back, we were confident that the company had the potential to become a global leader in the treatment of severe gastric acid-related disease. Since then, the company has reported strong Phase II data and is now ready to move into the final stage of clinical development". We are happy to announce that Trill Impact Ventures, together with Bpifrance has co-led a USD 25m series B financing round in May Health, a French-American medical device company targeting Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) related infertility. The round also saw participation from existing May Health investor Sofinnova Partners. Proceeds will advance the clinical development of May Health’s device, as well as reaching CE marking that will enable market introduction in select European countries.   Nina Rawal, Co-head of Trill Impact Ventures and Partner at Trill Impact Advisory says: “We see May Health as a great example of a company where commercial opportunity and social impact go hand in hand. Just over a week ago, Trill Impact’s portfolio company, Sustera Group, marked the start of a new phase by launching the new brand and strategy at an all-hands event in Helsinki. The day was filled with insightful discussions and inspiring talks. The company’s CEO, Tuomas Qvick, shared his vision for the future of the company and, of course, revealed the new brand name, Sustera. Johan Lundén, Investment Partner at Trill Impact Advisory, delivered an inspiring keynote on why we see Sustera Group as an important contributor to addressing one of the major CO2 emitters in Europe today, namely, inefficient buildings. Trill Impact Advisory’s Investment Director, Hanna Eiderbrant, also participated in a panel discussion on profitability drivers, sparking a thought-provoking conversation about how branding can help drive both sales and profitability. The rebranding marks an update of the strategy, aimed at accelerating revenue growth and expanding the presence in the Nordics and Western Europe over the next four years. Trill Impact’s portfolio company ILT Education, a supplier of educational tools for schools and preschools designed specifically for individuals with learning support needs, recently released their Impact Report for 2023. The report highlights how ILT Education aims to contribute to several of the #SDGs by empowering individuals with education and support, including Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.   Trill Impact and ILT Education have been working together since 2021 with establishing methodologies to assess and measure the company’s impact in alignment with their business performance.
