We had the incredible opportunity to participate in project by Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego and WPROST, highlighting the groundbreaking work being done in the field of Polish medicines. It was an important opportunity for us to talk about biological drugs to a wider audience. Dr Adriana Kiędzierska - Mencfeld succeeded in clearly explaining the differences between innovative biological drugs and biosimilars and what we exactly do at Polpharma Biologics 💪 Adriana also had the chance to share insights about the development of biosimilar medicines and its significance in modern therapy. Racing to help! 💪 🚗   Wielka Wyprawa Maluchów dla Dzieci 2024 has started. The event features 80 teams from various companies and private individuals, including top Polish rally drivers. They are driving from the Palace of Culture in Warsaw to Monte Cassino in iconic Fiat 126p cars. 🚘 The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of children injured in traffic accidents. Great news! Biosimilar ranibizumab recently launched in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)! --------------------------------------------------------------- We are happy to inform that our biosimilar ranibizumab medicine for patients with retinal diseases is now available in KSA. 👏   This medicine, developed by Bioeq AG, a Joint Venture company between Polpharma Biologics and Formycon, has received marketing authorization from the Saudi Food & Drug Authority. The drug has already proven to be an important, cost-effective treatment option for patients with severe retinal diseases in the USA and large parts of Europe.    MS PHARMA is our commercial partner for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. We have been part of the 14th edition of the Biotechnology Students’ Conference, which took place on May 27-28, 2024, at the Institute of Biotechnology at University of Gdańsk. This exceptional event brought together talented students who presented the results of their master's thesis research. The jury, composed of Alicja Kryczalo-Lara, MBA, Anna Ducka, PhD, MBA, Nadia Bednarska, Zbigniew Jaremicz, PhD, and Tomasz Gozdziewicz, PhD evaluated these presentations. One of the highlights of the conference was the awarding of the Polpharma Biologics prize for the best presentation. 🏆 This year's award, a one-year paid internship sponsored by Polpharma Biologics S.A., was given to Magdalena Labudda for her presentation titled "Synthetic NTPases and nucleases based on Trpzip motif". Recently, we were honored to participate in the "Career Talks" panel organized by the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Polska Akademia Nauk) in Cracow. With May behind us, we reflect on Mental Health Awareness Month and its significance. At Polpharma Biologics, we recognize the profound impact mental health has on our lives, both personally and professionally. In May and beyond, we were committed to shining a spotlight on the importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace. Our wellbeing initiatives include meetings with specialists and providing educational materials in the field of: mindfulness, stretching exercises, facial yoga workshops, physiotherapy & office yoga 🧘♀️ In addition, we regularly organize webinars for employees so they can learn more about the idea of wellbeing! During Mental Health Awareness Month, we were reinforcing our commitment to integrating mental health initiatives into our daily operations.
