Laura Ferguson is a general assignment reporter whose beat includes covering teaching and learning at the School of Engineering, sustainability, campus improvements, and Tufts history. She also supports University Advancement as an editor and writer for the philanthropy publication One Tufts. Before joining Tufts in 1995 as editor of Tufts Magazine, then in the Office of Alumni Relations, she worked at Harvard University as managing editor of the Harvard Gazette. She holds a biology degree from Mount Holyoke College.
