WEOG has declared September 3 as ‘World Decarbonization Day’. In the announcement, Oladunni Owo, National President of Women In Energy Oil and Gas (WEOG) in Nigeria and CEO of Blackgold Energy Authorities, emphasized the importance of decarbonization in reducing environmental impact, noting that tree planting remains the most effective method according to current research. Owo also highlighted the significant energy gap in Nigeria and Africa, which demands a diverse mix of energy resources, including solar, wind, hydrogen, nuclear, and gas. At Rensource Energy, we are dedicated to promoting decarbonization and bridging the energy gap in Africa by helping businesses transition to clean energy solutions.
