    Malta Healthcare Caterers are seeking a Maintenance Manager who shall be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations in a food production industry. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing budgets, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities: • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback; • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient work allocation; • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to optimise equipment reliability and minimize downtime; • Establish preventive maintenance programs, schedules, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment; • Oversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are operating at optimal levels; • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, including expenses for labour, spare parts, equipment, and contractors; • Monitor expenses, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety standards; • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and best practices. This includes understanding various equipment and machinery used in the industry, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of relevant regulatory and safety standards; • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain departments to source and manage vendors, suppliers, and service providers; • Evaluate contractor performance, negotiate service agreements, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Qualifications • Possession of a qualification equivalent to MQF 6 in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or a related engineering field. Alternatively, a qualification equivalent to MQF 5 may be considered if the candidate has at least 4 years of experience in a managerial role; • Proven experience in maintenance management; • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and best practices; • Excellent leadership and team management skills; • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies; • Sound understanding of safety regulations and risk management. • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO) would be considered as an asset.     Healthmark is seeking a Human Resources Officer. This is a key position within the HR Department, responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions of the Group, which include recruitment, employee relations, and records upkeep. This role requires an individual who has an eye for detail and has the ability to work on his/her own initiative, meet tight deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment; Responsibilities • Establish relationships with employees and management, providing employee support with regards to the various HR related matters; • Responsible for collecting documents relating to work permits for third country nationals; • Be actively engaged in the administrative processes related to the human resources department - provide assistance and support for the day-to-day HR-related requirements including the upkeep of the company’s HR data system, assistance and management of emails and various platforms that are integral for the HR Department; • Manage the compilation and collection of necessary documentation required from employees; • Monitor the implementation and compliance of the company’s HR procedures; • Take initiatives to establish a positive employer-employee relations and promote a high level of employee morale; • Perform regular file audits ensuring records database is accurate and up to date; • Engage in any other task related to the role; The ideal candidate should: • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role especially in collecting work permit related documents and submissions to ID Malta;  • Possess excellent communication skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels; • Possess a practical hands-on approach to work; • Have a very good level of written and spoken English and Maltese; • Be proficient in IT, including MS Office applications. • Knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR-related qualifications will be considered an asset.     Healthmark are seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse to assist the Head of Quality with clinical audits, developing policies and procedures, promoting quality in healthcare services and implementing improvement projects to ensure consistent and good-quality delivery of service. The role includes onsite audits at various entities, monitoring and following up on company procedures that affect the quality of service delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to analyse data from audits, communicate and provide feedback or training as required. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Quality. TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Performing clinical audits and observation rounds across various client entities based on standardised tools provided by the Quality Department; • Analysing and reporting accurate findings to the Head of Quality and coordinating with team and supervisory staff to correct deficiencies; • assist in the investigation of clinical complaints and incidents;  • Assist in the implementation of improvement procedures; • Assist in staff training, workshops and refresher training of personnel when non-conformities or deviations are noted during inspections; • Assisting in induction and orientation of clinical personnel across all entities; • Assisting the Head of Quality with the revision, development, communication and implementation of group policies and procedures; • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation; • Ensure policies and procedures are successfully maintained to maintain a good quality of service; • Adhere to company policies and protocols. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • MQF 5 or higher in Nursing and registration with the Council for Nurses and Midwives (Malta) as a State Registered Nurse; • Good work ethic and attention to detail; • Conscious of workplace confidentiality principles; • Good communication skills in Maltese and/or English; • Exercise good control, coordination and communication with other employees; • Basic knowledge of working with computers; • Previous job experience in a similar role and/or in a health and social care background is considered an asset.
