Pre-Award and Proposal Development Services | Templates

University of Minnesota Medical School

The Pre-Award and Proposal Development Services team located in the Medical School Dean's Office, Office of Research, is dedicated to supporting UMN Medical School (MS) faculty and staff with the development and submission of quality grant applications that are compliant with both the sponsor and university requirements. We aim to provide a core set of services to the MS research community and prioritize requests from under-resourced departments, centers, institutes, and programs within both the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses, as well as faculty with dual UMN and VA appointments. The following templates were developed by a talented committee of volunteer pre-award Grants and Contracts Professionals from various departments in the MS. These templates are intended to provide consistency and can be used by pre-award teams across the MS.

Please see timeline template below for links to a variety of additional templates, such as MPI plan, DMS plan, human subjects sections, vertebrate animals, and others.
