- 7 teams
- Each country's National Olympic Committee (NOC) will be free to choose the method by which they select their representative players.
- The Cambodian team will be selected by E-Sports Federation Cambodia (EFC).[1]
- The Malaysian team was selected by a head coach from LCM nominated by Esports Malaysia.[2]
- The Thai team was selected by a qualifier hosted by Garena League of Legends Thailand.
- The Singapoream team was selected by Singapore's Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA)[3][4]
- The Vietnamese team was chosen to be EVOS Esports by LoL Vietnam.[5]
- Winner qualifies for 2018 Asian Games.
