CommsAdda organized an insightful session on "Demystifying Public Affairs: Understanding the Landscape" today. The session was skillfully moderated by Sunaina Jairath, VP of Brand & Communication, guiding discussions with our esteemed guest speakers: 🎙️ Dilip Cherian, Image Guru & PR Consultant 🎙️ Tushar Panchal, CEO of WarRoom Strategies 🎙️ Dr. Ashok Acharya Professor at Delhi University's, Department of Political Science. Public affairs involves the management of relationships between an organization and its external stakeholders, including the government, media, and the public. This field encompasses a range of activities such as lobbying, policy analysis, and strategic communication aimed at influencing public policy and opinion. Key aspects of public affairs include: ~ Engaging with lawmakers and government officials to advocate for specific legislation or policies that align with the organization's interests. ~ Policy Analysis: Researching and analyzing policy issues to provide informed recommendations to stakeholders. ~ Strategic Communication: Crafting messages and campaigns to shape public perception and influence public debate on key issues. ~ Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, NGOs, and industry associations.
